what i did with a spoon today

remember the depressing before pic?
this past weekend i collected all of pots and filled them with plants from my friends farmstand, utopia farms, in manchester by the sea. well, little did i know (because i didn't ask, oops) the neighbor who own the pots is moving... so tonight i emptied all of the perfectly planted pots
and put those suckers in the ground...
and since i only had a snow shovel laying around,
i decided to tackle the soil with a soup spoon.

located in the lower east side, the ultra hip boutique, flower girl, fancies itself with offbeat arrangement design. the owner, denise porcaro, loves to use quirky things such as pods and quills or really simple, gorgeous garden roses set in a unique flea market find tin.
